UTC offers the Information Technology Leadership Program (ITLP) as a fast track toward success. Participants gain experience in Application Development and/or IT Audit, E-business, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), IT Architecture, IT Infrastructure, Security and Telecom. Candidates for the IT Leadership Program should possess a related degree in Computer Engineering or Business/Management, Computer Science, IT, MIS. You will also need a strong academic record that demonstrates leadership ability, along with proven analytical, communication and teamwork skills.

The IT Leadership Program consists of three dynamic nine-month, project-oriented rotations that may take place at UTC corporate headquarters or at any of our business unit sites. The goal is to provide valuable exposure to UTC businesses, while exploring a large cross-section of IT disciplines and functions. The environment, culture, technology and business practices vary throughout the company, and ITLP associates will encounter new and exciting opportunities in each of their three program rotations.

The IT Leadership Program provides a solid foundation for future growth and achievement. Specific assignments will be based on your career interests and other factors. Assignments are primarily in high-pressure environments that foster rapid personal and professional development. These tasks may include but are not limited to:

The ITLP is an outstanding opportunity to gain immediate visibility among UTC decision makers, while also enjoying formal mentorships from peers, colleagues and the ITLP program manager.
