“I knew that at Pratt & Whitney I would find plenty of opportunities, but that if I wanted to move, I would have opportunities within the other business units as well.”

What opportunities does the Financial Leadership Program provide for community service?

"The Financial Leadership Program is constantly in touch with the community. We volunteer about four or five times every six months during our assignments. These volunteer opportunities include: Junior Achievement, Habitat for Humanity, United Way, and soup kitchens. There is always an opportunity for associates and other UTC employees to participate in community service events. We even have a Community Service FLP team based at Pratt & Whitney, which is responsible for coordinating all of the community services activities for the entire program. The best part about this is that the activities are constantly changing and at the same time we are constantly helping out the Greater Hartford community in a big way!."
