Senior Analyst, International Trade Compliance

Lead and direct the implementation of international trade compliance regulations, policies, procedures, training, and audit programs. May be an Empowered Official. Over 7 years experience.
Provide company support, regulatory interpretation and guidance in the following areas:
Anti-boycott/Restrictive Trade Practices, Product Classification, Export Licensing, Re-export Authority, Technical Data, Compliance Training, Export Documentation, Letters of Credit, Import Assists, Import Licensing, Import Customs Clearance, Import Tariff Classification, Foreign Sourcing, Terms and Conditions, Offset and Industrial Participation, Duty Drawback, Denial Party Lists, Maintain Company Export Control List, Maintain Export/Import Records.
Prepare and approve Export License or Agreement applications. Interface with SBU International Trade Management and/or ITO to support license applications. May interact with US government agencies.
Monitors and statuses export license applications. Enters company product license information into company databases. Conducts audits to assess the export/import compliance of company and supporting operating entities.
Interacts with Customs Brokers and/or freight forwarders to ensure that export documentation, AES and import entries are filed correctly.
Participates in worldwide export, re-export and import compliance training as required. Takes a leadership role in the continuing development of company based export/import knowledge.
Stay current in US Government export/import regulations and company export/import procedures.
Leads or facilitates projects as needed. May provide work direction.
Leads the development and improvement of company policies and procedures
Performs and certifies Export Jurisdictional Analysis.
Four year degree or (13) Years of experience in lieu of education.
Over 5 years¿ relevant job experience, or 13 in lieu of the degree.
Must be US Citizen, permanent resident, or granted asylum or refugee status.
Comprehensive understanding of company¿s policies and procedures regarding ITAR, EAR, US Customs, other laws and regulations governing international trade.
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
Strong computer skills in MS Office and system database.
