Mechanic/Inspector/Test Cell Operator

The principle duties of this position are to perform all activities associated with the disassembly, inspection and assembly of gas turbine powerplants. This position requires practical application of technical knowledge and strong numerical and reading skills to interpret complex work instructions. Excellent interpersonal, planning and organizational skills are needed for a team oriented work environment.

This position will require the incumbent to perform disassembly, inspection, assembly and engine test duties using a variety of production tooling and equipment to accomplish these function.
Incumbent must be committed to continuous education for professional growth.

Job Responsibilities/Key Job Requirements as assigned:
1. V2500 Engine disassembly/assembly - Perform mechanic duties to disassemble engines, engine sections and accessories.
2. Inspection - Inspect engines, engine sections, accessories and component parts to determine serviceability and repairability.
3. Demonstrate commitment to the EH&S program by complying with all policies and procedures, completing all required training, and supporting all applicable committee activities.
4. Demonstrate a commitment to ACE and continuous improvement.

Minimum high school diploma or equivalent

Engine overhaul and repair experience, V2500 preferred, in one or more of the following disciplines: Disassembly, Inspection, Assembly, Engine Test and additional experience in engine performance testing preferred.

Must be willing to work all shifts
