Onity, a UTC Fire and Security Company, is seeking an experienced Product Manager who will manage product life cycle and new product development process of its hospitality product lines with ownership of the product business plan.   Additionally, the position will support the operational integration of these products into Onity's global relevant marketplaces. 

Position responsibilities will include but not limited to:

·         Overall Responsibility for the Revenue and Profit for the product line including developing pricing policies for the products.

·         Overall Responsibility for justification and approval for all investments in product line; manage product through entire product lifecycle including development, launch, and post-launch support. 

·         Oversee and champion new product development via Stage-Gate process

·         Conduct Product and Sales training for assigned products

·         Provide feedback on the current state of the product throughout the development cycle and provide risk assessments.

·         Demonstrate the ability to manage change at any point in the development cycle and be capable of mastering and applying new technologies

·         Work with 3rd party alliances to develop strategic partnerships to advance selling opportunities and go to market strategies

·         Generates product specification sheets for Supply Chain integration

·         Generates product documentation and user manuals

·         Spearhead integration of new products into the sales, distribution, technical and logistic departments of the Company

·         Prepare and maintain technical documentation (User and technical manuals)

Job Requirements:

·         Engineering Degree required (Electrical or Mechincal); MBA desired

·         Must have minimum of two years product management experience

·         Electromechanical background/experience a plus

·         Project Management Certification or equivalent demonstrable experience desired
