The F119 Engine Manager (EM) at Holloman AFB, provides on-site contractor support to USAF for base Engine Management (EM) operations. Provide advice and assistance to USAF base customers, F119 System Program Office, MAJCOM HQ USAF, HQ PACAF/A4, and F119 P&W Logistics Management with respect to day-to-day EM issues pertaining to the health, maturity and life management plan of the F119 engine. Use skill and judgment to identify problems and work with site Field Service Rep to conduct investigations to determine root causes concerning F119 EM. Coordinate problem resolutions with base customers, contractor on site support staff, and P&W Logistics Management. Support P&W Site Manager in executing the F119 contractor support program to ensure every aspect of F119 base-level EM support is provided. Second and third shift work may be required.
AA/AS degree, Technical/Business School Certificate or Diploma, Skilled Trades Apprenticeship (for Technical & Skilled positions only), or other post high school training (two years duration) with minimum of 8 years experience.
Candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills for communicating with internal and external customers. Must have a working knowledge of USAF Engine Management procedures and programs. Extensive experience with CORE AUTOMATED MAINTENANCE SYSTEMS (CAMS), and Comprehensive Engine Management System (CEMS). Experience in configuration management, TCTOs, and forecasting is preferred along with knowledge of the Integrated Maintenance Information System (IMIS). Candidate must have a complete understanding of USAF AFI 21-101 and 21-104. Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite is desired (i.e., Word, Excel, Power Point, and Access).
Secret Clearance is a must, and the ability to access a SAR Clearance for F-22. Additionally, relocating to other F-22A/F119 sites/bases may be required based upon necessities for EM personnel at current or future F-22 sites being activated.
