IT Leadership Program (ITLP)

The ITLP is a full time employment opportunity that cycles the participant through 3 nine-month rotations designed to give ITLP an opportunity to learn and contribute to our various business units across UTC. Through this program, Participants have the opportunity to deliver real results in the areas of business, technology, and process/project management throughout various operating companies. The ability to interact frequently with senior management, attend high-caliber classroom training, and build a strong and lasting global network of colleagues. Upon graduation from the ITLP; each associate is placed in a permanent assignment within IT at UTC.

Responsibilities will generally focus on one or more of the following:

- Define technological solutions to business problems
- Information Technology Development
- Web Applications
- Application Programs
- Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
- Support strategic partners for infrastructure, business applications, or web design.
- Manage small projects to help deliver technology solutions to customers
- Design web pages or support web development



 Program Qualifications; ITLP is designed for entry-level candidates who have the following:
• Recent Undergraduate Students with a bachelor's degree
and a concentration in computer science, computer engineering, or related technical/engineering discipline; or recent graduates with up to two years of IT-related experience and a bachelor's degree with a concentration in computer science, computer engineering, or related technical/engineering discipline.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher preferred.
• Effective analytical, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
• Professional demeanor with clients, colleagues, and management.
• U.S. citizenship or legal permanent resident status (necessary for consideration).

Experience: Willingness to rotate to different locations for each of the three nine-month rotational assignments. Proven strength in the following competencies: strategic leadership, business judgment and ethics, analytical thinking, communication skills, adaptability and focus on results.
Technical skills: Microsoft Office suite products, web development tools, database development and management, ERP, Operating systems and technical infrastructure.
